Reviews

Unit content was easy to understand and actually interesting! Thankful for the chief examiner and head lecturer, Daniel, who presented the content in a really digestible manner. The assignments were also enjoyable to complete and had clear real-world applications.

Very interesting but there is a lot of content! Start your notes early and join a study group!

So interesting. Loved it.

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2019

Nice and I really loved it, I got a distinction. I could guide my fellow classmates

As other people have mentioned, assignments aren't so bad, but the amount of content is actually mad, as is the level of detail required in your knowledge. Don't do this unit unless you have to, or are deeply interested in perception and cognition. It's too stressful and not intrinsically interesting enough to make it enjoyable otherwise.

Super interesting and engaging. Assignments were a bit dry but content helps you get through it.

Not a great subject. Very content heavy. A lot to learn. Some simple, some annoying to understand. Someone please tell Mundy to stop it with the Muller-Lyer.

The unit is generally well organised however there is so much content this makes revising for the exam difficult

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2015

Not one of the most interesting psychology units but necessary for the advancement in a psychology course. The content was not too difficult and involved less statistics than previous units.
