Interesting lectures and do-able midsemester test. But that's as far as it goes, lab assessments were marked very harshly and its contents were not assessed in the exam. Similarly, the tutorials weren't assessed in the exam. There is a lot of content and rote learning.

This unit was a really interesting unit overall. The labs were fun but got repetitive. The lectures were interesting though. Assessments are not very hard at all, especially most of the dry lab assessments as notes were allowed. However, the lab report is hard to HD, as lot is expected for a HD. Pre-lab quizzes are a good way to score and easy! The exam is really specific but not terrible at all.

Names of microbes and their pathogenic features can be confusing. So give yourself ample amount of time so that you can revise and be thorough with it. Or else at the end you can mess up with all of them. Lot of Qs are asked for specific bacteria or virus and how they specifically cause disease. Those who had immunology as elective will find certain 2-3 lectures just an overview and very easy, while for others it will be a lot of rote learning.
