This is a relatively straightforward topic, though dry and tedious at times it is quite simple if you put the work in. If you have done accounting before you will likely go through this subject with ease. However, there are differences so it is best to still attend tutorials. to those that haven't, you need to stay on top of the weekly work or you will fall behind. Seek help from tutors/lecturers if you need it, keep in mind a lot of the cohort has done accounting before so you need to be able to compete with them. Make sure you fix any mistakes you make along the way as simple mistakes such as debiting the wrong account can lead to stress, confusion and a negative impact on your marks.If you have the option try to get Allan Serry as a tutor, with any other tutor I doubt I would have done as well as I did.

Good subject for deep understanding into accounting. However, more time should be spent on the financial aspect of the unit as this is also a prerequisite for future finance units

It covers a little bit of financial accounting, management accounting, and finance. Knowing the concept of the financial accounting and finance is the best way to get a high mark here. A little bit of memorizing is needed for the management accounting.

Good lecturers and tutors. Unfortunately lectures are not recorded and the management accounting topic is fairly dry.
