This course is very difficult and content heavy. The workload cannot be underestimated. It focuses heavily on the theoretical side of statistics (i.e. mostly everything is derived from first principles). It is important to stay up to date. I personally wish the course would be trimmed down to just the essentials. The content in this course is very important for third year Actuarial subjects, so it's a necessary course and luckily it's quite comprehensive as a Statistics course. Overall, whilst it is a lot of work, it will put you in good stead for later subjects if you perform well in this subject.

Topics include: inference about one and two sample problems using normal theory and non-parametric methods; analysis of variance; multiple comparisons; and regression.

Important subject for Actuarial students who need to grasp intuitively concepts in estimation and key techniques in statistical tests. Not an easy unit to grasp at first but with practise, can be considered an easy unit

This course is super hard. Really weird but they do scale you to a credit because I'm sure most of the cohort fails.
