This was a fantastic unit. The content was clear and the tutorials assisted a lot with your learning, discussion, and understanding of the unit topics, they also made great use of showcasing some primary sources that related to the weekly content. The assessments worked well with the unit and the weekly online quizzes were a great way to engage with readings and get some easy marks to help with your grade. The lecturer (Matt) made the unit, if you have him as your tutor as well you'll be very lucky, he was always happy to help! I definitely recommend this unit for a first year modern history introductory unit, it isn't a 'boring Australian history unit', coming from someone who thought it would be, it is very relevant to the effects on Australian society and covers some interesting topics and issues.
