Fun and interesting subject if you enjoy a lot of media theory. The readings can be quite challenging (they do warn you). Weekly question submissions are fairly easy if you even skim the readings. Rowan (convener/tutor) is really great and super passionate about video games. Essay is pretty open ended so be careful to formulate a specific & concise thesis. If you just enjoy playing video games but are not keen on analysis/applying theory to them, probably avoid this subject.
