This unit was a pretty bag waste of time but it was also my capstone unit, so I didn't have much choice. Don't do it if you don't have to. It's supposedly meant to help you prepare to work in the media industry, which sounds like the sort of class you'd want to take if you're a media student, but it really does virtually nothing. There is so little content that's delivered to you, so little in the unit at all. I can't believe it actually costs money to take this tbh, with how little you get. Assessments ask you just to think about what work you want to do after uni, what's happening in your chosen industry and how you'll get there. It's nice that they're inviting you to think about it, but really you could do that in your own time. Though staff were friendly they don't give you much in the way of guidance or advice, and feedback on assessments was always late and in some cases never released at all.
