Genuinely an interesting unit, but the structuring, the unit convenor and the massive load of content to work through with minimal support is a major drawback. I think it's cool that I've done it but I'd not want to repeat the experience ever

DONT DO IT IF YOU DONT HAVE TO. the information is interesting but the way the unit is organised is terrible. it has potential but needs improvement. not very enjoyable. the tasks were okay but I feel like I learnt noting. lectures were terrible. excessive work which has no relation to the class. tutorials and lectures were so different I though I was in 2 different classes. wouldn't recommend.

This unit was extremely difficult, with a large amount of content, excessive readings, and an extreme lack of support and aid from the teaching staff, particularly the unit convenor. All of the students in my cohort struggled immensely and reached out to the convenor for help numerous times, only to be met with "Talk to your tutors". Unfortunately, while the tutors were kind, they were not terribly helpful due to a lack of communication with the convenor. The tutorial tasks were completely unrelated to the content in the lectures, which didn't allow for further learning of unit material. The assessments were also not related to the unit material. Overall, while the content would have been interesting had it been taught in a more effective manner, this unit was thoroughly stressful and disappointing.

Although its a bit "in depth" for an introductory subject, it still gives us a clear picture what speech pathology would be like. Overall It's enjoyable and all teaching staff did a lot of work to help us prepare for exams.

Although I had a great tutor, the subject has a lot of difficult content that you are expected to understand in a short period of time
