The full unit name is actually "Japan - Past and Present" which the page did not seem to complete. Nothing more could be demanded from this history unit. It not only introduces the uneducated to Japan's history, it also looks at the recording of history itself. Why ancient traditions and beliefs are stubbornly maintained, and why certain bias and censorship are existant.
