Having only learned Japanese in high school, I must say that the level of teaching in JP102 is impressive, to say the least. Level of grammar and kanji is perfectly paced and ordered in a logical manner. Anyone who has prior learning of basic Japanese could skip JPS101 and jump straight to this unit, though correspondence with the supervisor will be required.

This class has already filtered out those who were not serious in JPS101 and so you know you're on the right track if you're in it. But the fun doesn't stop there. Understanding and memorisation are two key things one will need along with their passion for the language in order to do well.
