The subject was quite hard to understand. It was quite hands on, however if you paid attention in the lectures and read the textbook as well as attend all tutorials it would be quite useful. It provides a very in depth introduction of what you will need in the field as well as understanding in the future. The tutorials/labs may seem very long and tedious but you will need to remember what you learnt in them. if you are having problems the teachers are more than happy to help you. The field trip is quite a long walk if you're not very fit, and remember to wear long pants and bring bug repellant!
