The unit helped me with web development skills, however most skills that will be used in the assignments aren't from the workshops, so you will need to do your own research. Some of the videos in the unit are hard to understand. There is an individual assignment, a technology report, a security report and a group assignment. Unfortunately, my group was not the most efficient, so I cannot compare them to a real-life teamwork situation, as well as we didn't have a rubric for the group assignment, just some information on what we should add to our assignment. I recommend doing COMP3130 (Mobile Development which teaches React-Native) before this unit (which teaches React) because it is a step easier in the right direction. However, I recommend this unit if you're interested in web development.
