I found it super interesting and it was actually my favourite subject despite been completely different to my degree. There is a lot of content as you have 3 lectures a week and they're all pretty full on. However, they were very interesting, with lots of quizzes, videos and photos included to make it really engaging. Whilst some of the labs could be boring or hard, it is pretty easy to do well in them overall because the supervisors are always willing to help and you have a partner as well. The other assignments had low weightings and were marked quite generously. It's just the final exam that can be hard because there is so much content to remember. I hadn't done any sciences since Year 10 and whilst there is a bit of physics in this unit, I found it perfectly manageable so don't worry about that. There's also no maths. I'd definitely recommend it as a planet unit 10/10. However, if you're looking for a super easy subject then maybe reconsider because there's a lot of content and some of the concepts can be a bit challenging to get your head around.

Really difficult as a Planet unit, especially if taken in your first semester and if you don't have a physics background. If you do though, and you covered astrophysics in the HSC, you probably won't find this much more difficult.
