SciFi MQ is a newly established student association at Macquarie University (2014). We're a group of SciFi fans who just want to have fun in our own nerdy way. Whether you're a die hard trekkie, a wookie, a wholligan or just love everything to do with science fiction, we are the society for you @ Macquarie University!! If you're around campus, you'll find us doing a number of awesome, nerdy, things. We might take over a lecture room and turn it into a battle bridge; the projector screen becoming the main viewer. E6A102 has never been so exciting! Outdoors, you could find some of us clashing lightsabres and acting weird as we try to make awesome fanflims. We also do cosplay, 3D printing, futurism, robots, movie screenings and free food! Our membership range from undergraduates, to PhD students, to alumni, to university staff .
