Okay this subject is a little tricky to explain. The lecture content itself is very straight forward but, to be frank, the course itself has a lot to do with other subjects like economics, policies and a little environmental stuff. The course convener, Peter Daniels, is another story. He doesn't really know how to teach in a succinct way so you end up spending 20 minutes on the same thing. The weekly quizzes are easy although confusing, however, if you get something wrong in the quiz because the question was confusing, be sure to screenshot and send him the photo with a good justification. If you have a good argument you can convince him to change your result but ya need to be good at writing emails. Peter himself is an odd teacher so be sure not to get on his bad side. With regard to the assignment, he marks really really tough. For the verbal presentation, i got 12.5/15%, you can watch my groups presentation https://youtu.be/1foKS4GqGaM . The written assignment is marked very very toughly, mostly because they dont like giving out high grades. Be sure not to have any spelling errors and reference everything. He came up with a really stupid reason to mark me down on the assignment because i made a "bold" statement without a reference so i get the feeling the markers for the assignment are just looking for ways to mark you down which is a bum thing to do. The final exam is very clear and easy although i did it online with covid, i think it is probably more difficult in person. overall, if you want an "easy 7" you wont find it in this subject, but if you want a "moderately easy 6" then this is your subject.
