Reviews

This subject is difficult, the final exam was very unorganised and the lecturers were not helpful. To be frank, Carmels modules are great, and she's an excellent. Jeremys lectures are overcomplicated but you will understand them. Daves garbage history genetics stuff is pretty disposable and i think there was only 1 question about it during the final exam. The industry assignment was really dumbly marked, be sure to use the criteria to write the assignment because some markers are tough. The quizzes are moderately easy but read the answers carefully, some answer are correct but other answers are more correct, so take your time. Concerning the online assignment split into 3 parts, pray you get the sickle cell anaemia one because the Tay-sachs is very difficult. Overall, it was an interesting subject but not an Easy 7, it was more of a moderately easy 6 with sustained effort.

A good understanding of content is required to do well in this course. Study hard for the first 4 modules and then relax and enjoy Dave's lectures -> easy

Definitely a content heavy subject, so lecture attendance is important so you don't fall behind. The module quizzes are a great way to prepare for the final exam. It's important to practice short answer responses as you go so you feel comfortable in the final.
