This subject was extremely challenging, not because the theory was intense, but because we had no support in weekly lectures or tutorials to break these theories down in easy-to-understand ways. The exam was ridiculous, so off-topic and pretty much just asking for direct quotes from theorists. I felt sorry for the convenor who was hired on short notice and had to deliver a sub-par course with little assistance from the university.

This subject is challenging, because it will get you to look at areas in society that you may not agree with. Have an open mind, be willing to gain some understanding and try not to beat yourself up when the content irritates you. The lecturers are great and the content is relevant for this degree :)
