Probably the worst subject I have ever taken at Griffith University. I am about to graduate from my degree, and this is a required "foundational" subject in first year. I am only now just completing it at the end of my studies. A large portion of the class is taught through software called R studio, which is a complete and utter hassle to download and use. The actual content of the class is extremely easy to learn and understand, however you are screwed even if you understand this due to that most of the assessable content is completed through R studio. Not once in my degree (2nd and 3rd year) have I ever had to use this software. The course offers little to no help in software use, as the videos are pre recorded and run on a specific type of computer, whereas the software looks completely and is run completely differently on other types of computers. A waste of time, learning and money considering that I was able to complete all other subjects in my degree well prior to this subject.

Easy if you attend all of the tutorials and lectures

Content heavy, but it really isn't too challenging if you ensure you attend the lectures. The marks you can gain from assignments and workshop attendance allows you to really put yourself in a good position going into the final exam.
