Interesting and enjoyable unti

No markup on assignments and the exam was more difficult than it needed to be for the amount of time allocated.

Lecturers gave great assistance and made the subject easy to understand

Whilst heaps of reseources provides by teaching staff, exam was too short (2 hrs) no planning and was worth 75% of entire mark making it hard too answer all questions thoroughly. Thus this gives Deakin students a disadvantage over students at other unis to achieve a good mark in torts where the exam either has more time or/ and is worth less marks. Assigment for this unit was ok, however for some reason we were restricted from using footnotes, which made it harder to stay intact with word limit.Teaching staff while helpful were sometimes unintentionally rude. Nevertheless, there were fast replies on discussion forum ang good case summaries provided on Deakin cloud. To do well in unit make sure you attend all tutes and have a go at answering the tut questions. Hope this helps.

Interesting subject, lots of content however if you have organised notes you can do well. Lecturer very good, concepts straightforward.

Great subject to study! Extremely easy to pay attention to given the content is so interesting. Important to stay on top of readings.

Great subject and is well taught at Deakin Uni. But, there is a lot of content in this unit and even more important to stay on top of your work
