This subject should not be taught so early. Most other courses do these in second or third year. Very heavy subject matter to get your head around. Being a distance subject made it difficult to engage with the lecturers without feeling as though I would say something wrong. Could be taught so much better and in a way that gets the content and message across in a much better way.

Interesting subject, albeit a little confronting at first. Going in with an open mind will make the subject more interesting.

horrible subject. the lecturer is extremely self righteous. She is quite racist and so is the prescribed text. They mark your essay and reading reflections very strangely

Awful subject with teachers that wish to incite hatred and guilt. Don't waste time posting things on the forum or joining in the group discussions - the teachers allow other students to belittle your views. I am not racist - I believe in equality for all. Just do what is required and get it over with. Good luck!

This is a ridiculous subject. Students should not be made to complete Indigenous health subjects if they do not wish to. I didn't learn anything I didn't already know, and didn't appreciate the subject/lecturers trying to change my views.
