It was a good course, it’s very similar to Pols1005 and could perhaps be restructured to provide more new learning. But it does this already to a large extent.

This course was well presented but as a compulsory course it seemed to be a repeat of the information learnt in POLS1005 so it did not feel like a useful course. Some assessments were changed due to certain students emailing complaints which was rather frustrating for the rest of the students taking the course who were happy with the initial assessments and then had to deal with the changes.

I love the format of this class - the two lecturers playing off one another to give both sides to all the arguments presented is really refreshing and breeds some interesting discussion :) The subject itself is really exciting but the way the course is taught makes it not sooo bad to be attending a 9 am lecture
