HIST 3012 is now “Rights, Rule and Power: From Magna Carta to French Revolution” England is more of the focus and France. It’s a very welcome change, and provides a fascinating exploration of the power transitions and resultant evolution of democracy (mostly) in the UK during this period. Well structured lecture / workshop and tutorial format (although given UWA trends this may sadly be reduced from 3 contact hours to 2 in future) Highly recommend in its 2019 form.
