Good subject, particuarly for geo/geography major students, but also a relatively easy broadening/elective. The field trip at the end of semester - a week out at Ninghan station - is a great bonding experience and you'll make lots of new friends. The lecturers 'firm but fair' approach was a breath of fresh air, you knew exactly where you stood, but students that make an effort are suitably rewarded. A really good, fun unit, that develops skills in mapping, geological interpretation and geologic history.
