I took this unit with Richard, and find his teaching style difficult to learn from. I thoroughly enjoyed this unit and felt it adequately covered many interesting aspects of sustainability. My favourite topic was discard studies, the study of waste disposal. This looked at the value of waste and how people interact with it. What should & should not be thrown away. It also discussed mining culture and sustainability within the Australian context. Under a different teacher, Adam Keen, I would highly recommend the unit.
