The subject is essentially like an intro to group projects (especially if you take it first sem first year). The tutors were all good, I had Jennifer and she was able to help our group with the direction of our report. The entire subject comes down to how good your group is, although the good thing is you have like 3 weeks to pick your group. I got a HD but 2 of us had to do extra work to compensate for some people who did barely anything. The actual content is boring and uninteresting (imo the 3 hour classes could be cut down to 2) but at least it's not too hard to do well.

This is definitely one of the easiest subjects for an IT degree, however, it does teach you about researching, referencing and group work which you will need for rest of your subjects. I was lucky to get a good group which enhanced my grade.

Easiest subject to get an HD, you only have to write an 2000 word essay. Not sure if its practical or not

This subject is pretty much about writing essays. My tutor wasnt very helpful at all, and his marking was weird. It felt like he gave you a lower mark just because. When I asked for justification, I did not receive a proper answer. Group work was bad as well.

This subject is basically English literature but related to writing reports and studying academic journals. It really depends on what Tutor you get, 1 tutor (Tom) is horrible and cares only about showing that he is smarter than you are. There are no lectures, and as such if you get a bad tutor, you're out of luck :/ It's best to try and transfer.
