AMCAT

AMCAT (Australian Maritime College Autonomous Technology) is a student run group of Maritime Engineers interested in Maritime Applications of Autonomy. The society started in the base of developing AUV's and their technology but has since move into autonomous surface vessels and other sub sea devices. We are based at the Newnham Campus of the Australian Maritime College in Launceston, Tasmania. Membership is free and members can undertake as little, or as much work as they please in whichever field interests them.
