A really well taught unit of study. This department puts together excellent resources, teaching aids and tutors to ensure all students have an interesting and rewarding learning experience. I found this to be a good course to do well in if I attended lectures, tutorials and engaged with the materials.

interesting, good assessments, teachers willing to answer any questions and marking isn't too harsh

Nice lecturers/tutors but it is so, so self-evident and easy. Only do it if you really struggle with essays.

Eh, it was alright. Requirement for my degree but I'm actually kind of glad that I had to do it. Pretty much just teaches you how to write a uni essay. Constant assessments are kind of annoying but at the same time kept me on top of the work. You don't really need to attend lectures - they're recorded so you may as well do them at home. Tutorials are hands on with exercises to do. You can easily get a good grade, even if you're a terrible writer.

Very boring BUT very easy. A lot of the content that you don't really pay attention to is important for other units and I found that I applied knowledge from this unit in other units.

yep easy can get high marks without attending lectures i really don't know why they even have them- there's about a slide of notes per lecture. Do the online lectures and fill out your darn journals online too because they will get you marks. The presentation tends to have lots of issues with people dropping out so be prepared to do a 2-person thing if it comes to that. Some of the tutor activities are kind of ridiculous and stupid and make you dread going but whatever. Zoe is one of the main tutors and she's amazing.
