Reviews
Loved this unit, although the systematic review was challenging. However you learn many skills from this unit that will take you into honours.

I loved this subject. Run by Niko who is great to learn from as is Carolyn. The systematic review was challenging but the learning from it was invaluable. The teaching is top notch and it's a great unit of study.

Psych units pretty much never fail to disappoint, but i guess if you stayed in psych this long then you obviously like the topics. Unfortunately we didn't have Niko this year because he was really sick! Carolyn Maccann was the coordinator instead. Assessments were organised chaos, which was a bit disappointing considering how organised psych is in 1st and 2nd year. There was a lack of information about how you were supposed to approach the question, a lack of responding to emails about the question, promises for additional FAQs which were never given out, and the information on the criteria sheet was not updated from the year before and we were told to ignore certain sections... but then told to not ignore them a week later. Very confusing and created a lot of stress.

A content-heavy unit but worth your time if this is what interests you. Assessments were a little confusing this year but they seem to change the assessments every year.
