Marking is unnecessarily harsh considering it is only a 2 credit point OLE. Getting such low marks despite the amount of effort, time and research put into assignments is incredibly demotivating. This is NOT a 6 credit point subject, yet the work load easily matched that of my other 6 credit point subjects. The online discussion requirements seemed very forced. Even though I valuably contributed and engaged in discussions with other students on the boards, my mark did not reflect this. This further proves that it is impossible to actually do well in this subject. The content is good, but honestly it just isn't worth it. All other OLE subjects are not nearly this intense or difficult to do well in.
