Highly structured course that goes through about half the chapters of the assigned textbook, very rigorous and covers vocabulary and grammar points every week. Weekly vocabulary tests help students retain thematic information related to the chapter, useful for the final exam. Roughly equivalent to TOPIK II Level 4. The university is planning to create Korean 7 and 8 - potentially starting from Semester 2, 2021.

Taught at a manageable pace, but if you want to properly speak Korean then you would have to go well beyond the course requirements to practice and learn.
