Whilst the tutorials focus only on academic skills and are quite boring, the "lectorials" are great as the lecturer makes good use of technology and covers some interesting content.

Lectures are pretty boring and the tutorials are not useful at all. The best thing about this unit is the assessments.

If you're looking to get an overview of international relations and its connection with social issues, then this is certainly a unit to consider. However, a lot of the lecture content doesn't directly correlate with what is covered in tutorials, and a lot of the topics are covered only at the surface and lack depth. However, with the right resources and knowledge, and by asking the right questions, it is possible to get a high mark and find the subject interesting.

This unit was immensely boring. The essay topics were bearable, but honestly the lecturers just read off the slides and tutes consisted of other students giving presentations and trying to decipher the silly readings. 10/10 did not enjoy. Also, the lecture was split into 2 one hour sessions in Bosch...

No exam, no participation mark... Just two assignments on an easy topic which you can write anything and you won't get it wrong! The worst or the best unit? Certainly for someone who constantly looking to challenge himself or herself, this is the worst ever!
