******** TDLR: Wouldn't recommend doing this unit; unorganised, poor guidance, less voice for IMPA3888ers, ambiguous, unrelated to IMMU/CPAT, unrealistic expectations of IMPA3888ers to become entrepreneurs and includes an exam. ******** This subject does not relate to IMMU/CPAT. It's more about commerce, which is ok. But this was the MOST unorganised subject I took in my final semester of 3rd year. There was a lack of guidance on how we should do assignments or come up with our business. What product/service your business comes up with will be determined by AVBS students; they were focused on doing the lab work/proof-of-principle stuff. IMPA students had to flesh out the business strategy without much help from academic mentors (AVBS students had mentors) and with a few related workshops. There were random practice presos/updates and we weren't made aware of this till almost the last minute (the schedule was hidden within a Canvas page...). The requirements for the presos were very ambiguous and may conflict with the coordinator of the collaborating unit (we collaborated with AVBS3888 students). Some AVBS3888ers may ignore your advice in improving the product/service/report/presentation, leading you to lose substantial marks (this has happened to my friends in other groups and myself) and stressing out heaps. Assignments were marked harshly. We had a skill-based exam too (wasn't bad, not content-based as much as your normal science units).
