Lovely reading list full of classics and poems. Taught at a good pace by Peter M who is so kind and willing to help outside of class. The small (15%) assignment is very easy and the essays are what you'd expect, with many interesting topics to choose from. I found some new favourite books through this course. Would highly recommend.

Required readings were amazing (Orwell, Woolf, Eliot, Dickens, Isherwood); Peter Marks is a fantastic lecturer and tutor. Assessments were really clear and unambiguous - not hard to get good marks in if you put in the effort. One of the best English units I've done, if not the best.
