Goat subject. The content is very easy to follow. Rebecca Taylor is an awesome lecturer. She breaks up the lectures so theyre easier to follow and digest. Quizzes every 2 weeks help you stay on top of the content. If you have a heavy content sem, this is a good 6 unit elective. Involves an essay which you can write on anything you want climate related & the exam questions are very similar to the tutorial and quiz questions and arent a big jump from Ecos2001 and other microeconomics you would've already done.

Lectures were very straightforward, and also did not have too much content (30mins long!). Still quite a maths based subject. Assessments involved were quizzes, which I would say were 80% maths questions relating to the weeks work, and 20% theory questions. There was an essay based on a reading, which was not too difficult. The final exam was multiple choice with math long questions. The subject was manageable, however the final exam was very difficult, but still managed to end up with a distinction mark for the whole subject.

Lectures were engaging and interesting, not incredibly math based but as with every economics course there are diagrams to remember

Is this subject math-based? Is it difficult?

The subject really only ran for about 7 weeks. Material covered for the mid-term was as far as the subject went so really only had to learn 7 weeks worth of material. Both exams covered the same material. The theories are fairly easy to digest, and basically just Market Failure extensions. Exams were the easiest I've ever experienced and the assignment was not too difficult to do well.
