The lecture stream is shared with the advanced BIOL1906 (content itself is dry and forgettable) but the lab component is shared with BIOL1993, human biology. Although the SSP course feels more suited to 1993 lecture content which dominants the 1st part lab series, the 2nd part, also the assessable component is more suited to 1996. The work is definitely challenging but will benefit you highly in later years. The course coordinators, Simon and Nate are absolute legends and a dynamic duo who will make the labs very interesting. Before every lab, there would be a brief run down which is very useful - the guidance will be like nothing else you will experience in other units of study. Overall, fantastic unit and wish they would run every SOLES other course in uni!!
