Best part - Gareth Worst part - final exam A very enjoyable subject in terms of its content and its lecturer. Generally a heavy load in terms of coursework and lab work but it is manageable depending on your other units. I found the final exam quite difficult because of the amount of questions for the given length of time. Also, the questions really force you to apply the content you've learnt so your cheat sheet is deceivingly unhelpful.

Pretty lively lab environment. Fairly stressful lab experiments. High demand on LabArchive homeworks/Logbooking. There was a difficult skills test which made people lose sleep and hair both before and after (low weighting.) Taking this as well as MBLG will put a bit on your plate in terms of LabArchive work. The exam was extremely brutal. Worst exam (in terms of wording, deviance from content, scope) I have ever taken, hands down. Overall a decent theory subject. Good for those interested in nutrition and metabolism.
