MADE AN ACCOUNT JUST TO TYPE THIS if u get sandro fernando as ur tutor then gl hf. ur going to hate ur life + virtually everyone ik taking this subject (10+) hates him. he makes tasks artificially hard and would insult students ("this is a no brainer why are you even asking this") if they don't immediately understand a concept to the point where not a single person asks questions anymore in lectures compared to in week 1. If you're already taking this course, you already know that he has outbursts against the whole class "OH MY GOD HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO EXPLAIN IT" in the project 1 tutorial around 30min DESPITE only explaining it once and very poorly on the previous slide. A student had to step up and explain it in chat instead. In 3 lines. He saved everyone. He is my second least favorite person in usyd and a highly unlikeable tutor with a fragile ego (he always interprets people asking questions as him not explaining things well enough). Course is NOT well organised as what is written on lab archives would frequently contradict with what he tells us on ED or in tutorials. The entirety of ed stem is unironically just him responding to genuine questions with "watch the lecture again". Funny guy who feels joy at the sight of despondent students.
