The objective of the University of Sydney – Singapore Medical Society (SMS) is to be a point of contact between medical students in Sydney and Singapore healthcare organisations including Ministry of Health (MOH), Singapore Medical Council, MOH Holdings (MOHH), Singapore Health Services (SingHealth), National University Health System (NUHS) and National Healthcare Group (NHG). SMS aims to foster a community on campus and promote professional development of future doctors through a wide array of educational and social events. Also, we provide information on future career choices and aid in the integration of Australian medical graduates into the Singapore healthcare scene. We hope to engage the school’s community at large and encourage more students to seek further interest in the healthcare field.
