Hopeless. Outdated textbook full of errors prescribed for this course. Lectures & tutorials consistently uploaded late every week. And a very unsupportive lecturer well past his expiry date- happy to criticise, but never explain how you can improve, or where you went wrong. Thank god for Khan Academy and online chemistry tutorials: thanks to them and my own intensive efforts (and not to USQ) I managed to pass the course, but it affected my perfect GPA. As a student who always gets A or HD grades in other science/medicine courses, I can honestly say that this course needs a desperate overhaul. This lecturer loves to complain about the multitude of students failing every semester, always blaming their lack of effort. I witnessed so many students studying hours each day, using other resources, asking for help, putting in the effort, only to receive a fail grade. It is his teaching methods & pathetic course materials letting these students down. If this course wasn't a prerequisite to other subjects, I'd have saved my money & taught myself online as I ended up doing.
