This course is great for physicists and non-physicists alike. It isn't technically difficult - you'll find the exams and diagnostic tests are mostly applying formulae (provided on a sheet, you just have to remember what's relevant to what) and remembering some basic theory. A lot of the course is only for interest's sake - there's a lot of discussion of star life cycles for example which doesn't feel like it's ever assessed, which takes the pressure off absorbing all of the detail. The best part of the course is the group assignments - you're like a detective who has to use what you've learnt to solve a very sci-fi scenario where your spaceship crew needs to learn more about a planet they're observing. Perhaps the only group assignment I've done that wasn't painful in the slightest, as you do solo reports but help each other out with the calculations, and credit other people whose results you use where need be. Overall the most fun I had as part of my physics major.
