Great course. Great lecturers (Sam and Tony) and interesting, varied content. If you took COSC2500 and enjoyed it, this is worth doing. Especially if you like MATLAB or are willing to learn to like it. Having to do algorithms by hand in the midsemester exam was a bit of a pain, but it does help you learn them better. The final exam is open book and computer based, which was pretty stressful and required a lot of prior preparation of code and notes.
