Pros: due to assessment structure, you don't need to deeply study ~80% of the content. Easy 6 if you're good with essays. Cons: very dull content.* Duncan is a dry & slow lecturer. Very little academic support - it assumes you're 2nd year and don't need much guidance or feedback. *unless you really enjoy the less empirical, more theoretical/conceptual parts of sociology and critical theory.

I did not find this course content interesting but that is just me, so it was difficult for me to engage at time. Having said that, the lecturers and tutors have tried their best to make it as engaging as possible, and they are all very nice and approachable.

Great subject. Although it is compulsory (and they do tend to me more boring because you have to do them) the lecturers make each class a lot of fun and are keen for feedback and an interactive class.
