Good content. It teaches fundamental tools in maths which are very helpful and applicable in later economic courses.

great course, focuses on the maths aspects, can score above 90% if you do all the tutorials and know what's going on

Some concepts quite technical but as long as you keep up every week and do the practice questions it's manageable.

I enjoyed the course, provided some basic maths skills that would be applicable in higher level economics subjects. Some topics I really wonder the relevancy of but overall the course was not bad.

Really soft microphone. For those who aren't "maths people" or take longer to learn maths, get all the extra resources and assistance you can because PASS questions do not reflect tute questions and assignment tasks do not reflect exam questions. Retrospectively, this actually makes a lot of sense because PASS and tutorials serve different purposes and assignments and exams shouldn't actually be similar because topics are more suited to one assessment type than another. But it goes against exam-prepping-student logic and I was not happy at the time. Useful content to know for intermediate level economics courses, because the maths won't be thoroughly stepped through from the basics there.

Compared to other Lvl 1 economics courses, this course was thoroughly unenjoyable. The course content was delivered poorly by an incomprehensible lecturer, there was disjoin between content covered in PASS, Tutorials and Lecturers. The assignments were straightforward though the exams did not reflect the emphasis placed on certain topics.

Very good subject, pretty basic but it might be tricky for hearing what the lecturer has to say.

A great subject covering the basic mathematical techniques needed in advanced economics or basic econometrics.
