Reviews
Learning is very much self driven with most knowledge coming from completing the module assessment questions. A different grading structure to normal, which makes it easy to acheive a 5 or 6 but somewhat unclear what level of detail is required for a 7.

I'll be honest, I stopped attending lectures for this course after a few weeks -- the only time I've ever done this for a whole course. The textbook by Sauer is absolutely magnificent and all you need to complete the modules. I didn't attempt the optional project and was still able to get a 6 without going to the lectures. Not that I recommend that necessarily. The other review is right -- very much a self-learning course. Put in the effort to attempt the optional questions.

A lot of self-learning required. How well you do solely depends on how much time and energy you spend on it. Put in the effort and you'll excel in the course.
