I was surprised at how little help I got with finding a placement. I had one meeting with the coordinator who basically told me it will be hard. But I do appreciate the experience I got through applying and interviewing. Very "real world" I did my placement at a not for profit organisation and would recommend others to do the same. Very easy to get in to and it was the most valuable internship I've had.
