the lectures dont add anything they just show you a bunch of super generalized math things. the pracs are wayyyy to simple for the assignments. basically you use matlab/numpy fit ployfit etc... but they never bother to take you through using this package/extension in the pracs. And your looking for things in the packages that are so incredibly niche. The course wastes time when it could go over the fundamentals being used later, early on.
