Monash Health Tutor Sarah

Hello and welcome!
I’m a first year graduate medicine student at Monash University.
In 2024, I finished my Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University.
I’ve definitely been through the ups and downs of the medical school application journey. After an unsuccessful undergraduate interview with Monash at the end of high school, I took time to reflect and grow, eventually earning first-round postgraduate offers from both Monash University and Griffiths University. I know the road to med school can be bumpy and disheartening at times, but when it comes to the MMI, I’m here to make that part feel a little more manageable and streamlined.
~ MMI ~
Whether you're just starting to prepare for your MMIs or looking for that final boost of confidence, I’m excited to support you on your journey.
During my undergrad, I worked as a medical receptionist in a busy GP clinic, where I gained valuable real-world clinical insight. This role strengthened my communication skills, taught me how to manage sensitive patient interactions, and gave me a solid understanding of the day-to-day realities of healthcare—all of which fed directly into my MMI performance.
MMIs are not about sounding robotic or rehearsed, they're about authentic, structured responses that reflect who you are. My goal is to help you feel confident, natural, and ready to adapt to whatever comes your way. I know the med school interview can feel intimidating at first, but with the right preparation and mindset, they become a real opportunity to showcase the great med student and doctor inside of you. My goal is for you to feel excited for your interview!
I write all of my own MMI practice stations, tailored to reflect current themes and the key competencies medical schools are assessing. My approach is personalised, supportive, and grounded in real experience, from both sides of the MMI process. Whether you're just starting out or looking to fine-tune your responses, I’m here to help you build structure, confidence, and genuine insight into what interviewers are looking for.
