89 USYD Psychology WAM // Ranked 1st Hi! I completed my Graduate Diploma of Psychology in 2024 at the University of Sydney and received the prize for Top Student. I am beginning a Research Masters in Cognitive Sciences at Sorbonne University (Paris) later this year with the plan to pursue a PhD and work as a psychology researcher. Prior to this, I received my BA from New York University in 2017 (full scholarship) and worked as a marketing and artist manager in the music industry for several years, at places like Spotify and Warner Music. Working closely with artists, I honed my coaching and mentoring skills with an incredibly diverse range of people in high-stress environments. This allows me to bring a warm, chill energy to whatever the task (even third-year statistics!) I can assist with: (1) Researching and writing essays and reports (2) Constructive feedback on drafts (3) Understanding lecture content and exam practice (4) Applying to overseas universities, eg. strategy, scholarships and admission essays (5) Career mentoring and job applications I am available to first, second and third year psychology units for services 1-5. Services 4-5 are open to anyone. **While I can help with several areas, I am especially passionate about helping students level-up their academic writing! I have experience tutoring/editing writing across a range of formats: concerning psychology, I received 97/100 grades across experimental research reports (PSYC3910) and essays (HPSC3023), and have held several paid research assistant roles where I edited papers and wrote article sections for senior academics. My first peer-reviewed publication is coming out this year in the International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction. I offer Zoom and in-person tutoring, and can be available between sessions for additional support. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you'd like to chat further! Cheers, Isabelle
