Hello, a pleasure to meet you! I am keen to tutor undergraduate students looking for help with writing assignments and understanding course content better. I have a Bachelor of Arts from USYD where I majored in English and minored in Archaeology. I also completed many Anthropology units (I was only a couple of units away from having ANTH as a minor). I graduated with a Distinction, scoring highly in most of my units. I'm currently completing a Master of Arts in Archaeology at the University. My background has given me high proofreading, editing, writing, analytical, and research skills. My teaching style is to break down an essay/assignment question and come up with a plan to tackle it. I want to see how the student usually approaches assignments, and to help them find any gaps in their methods so that the assignment will be both easier and more understandable to them, and ultimately, produce higher marks. Structuring your writing and having an organised plan are two pillars essential to my teaching methods, and are the ways I tackled my assignments during my degree. I am patient, friendly, and caring. I am also very passionate about the subjects I studied - I graduated with my Bachelor's in 2022, so I was recently in the same position as you! I tutor at Uni or on Zoom. At Uni, I'm happy to go wherever you're comfortable or I've got some spots :) I charge $30 for individuals and $35 for 2+ people.
