CQU Health Tutor Kerry

Hi, I was born and raised in the local community Mt Morgan. My journey to nursing was inspired by my passion for raising awareness of both Men's and First Nations health and wellbeing. I started my journey with CQU in 1998 with a secondary teaching degree but unfortunately life got in the way. I returned to study in 2020 as a mature aged student with CQU, completely both my STEPS and a Diploma of Beauty ( hard work but totally work it) . I am currently a 3rd year Indigenous Nursing student with CQU with a GPA of 6. I am wanting to help as much as a I can to assist other students being the best they can and achieving their own study / life goals. I can provide assistance with nursing unit concepts such as laws, health assessments, indigenous health, communication and most 1st/2nd year nursing subjects. I can also provide assistance with assessment breakdown and planning, APA 7 referencing. I am happy to tutor both Diploma and Bachelor of nursing students as well as STEPS students (completed STEPS in 2022) My teaching style is adaptable to various learning styles and my aim is to help my students develop the skills needed to facilitate learning growth. I prefer to tutor on Rockhampton Campus face to face, body language / non-verbal cues are everything when communicating, however are happy to negotiate via zoom. Hourly Rates: $30 per individual + $10 per additional person (happy to tutor groups of 2-3).
